Pranjal Garg is a medical student at one of the premier public institutes in India, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh.
He has a demonstrated history of research in various subfields of neuroscience. He was a Summer Research Fellow at California Institute of Technology, the USA, in 2021 and has published various peer-reviewed research papers. Besides this, he currently works as a research volunteer at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. As a student researcher, Pranjal understands the challenges associated with being one in India and founded Project Encephalon in 2020 and Project Encephalon Foundation in 2021.
He firmly believes there is no place for racism, homophobia, sexism, and other vices in science or elsewhere.
